My latest Word of the Week was captured in a magical moment at the dinner table on Friday night. We’d just started eating when out of nowhere, completely unprompted, Little Miss gleefully shouted ‘appy’ and beamed at us both. It was just lovely.
And since the week as a whole has generally been a very positive one, with work deadlines met, fun times playing at the park – watching our little girl grow in confidence – and today a big family gathering for a birthday, I think Little Miss couldn’t have put it better than…

“Happy” has worked for many a week, I’m glad to say. Great story. We once had a hamster named Happy because that’s all our daughter kept saying when she saw him.
